Iiyama XB2481HS-B 24 Inch Monitor
I basically bought my Iiyama XB2481HS-B 24 Inch Monitor as it’s stand could rotate 90 degrees as I wanted a vertical screen for coding on which was definitely one of my better ideas. Also it was the same make and product line as my Iiyama ProLite XUB3493WQSU 34″ Ultra Wide monitor which I have had since March 2021 and have really liked. So when I had some spare cash in October 2021 I bought this monitor to go with my new Mac Mini M1 2020 that I purchased at the same time.
I like the way that the 2 screens have a similar look and feel and the same colour depth etc so there is no discernible difference between the 2 screens which make it much easier to work with. The vertical orientation is also really useful when coding and the 2 screens together are more or less the exact width of my desk which worked out well 🙂
The only slight niggle that I have with the Iiyama XB2481HS-B 24 Inch Monitor is that as you can see from the picture above there is a thicker border on the screen on the left hand (Bottom) of the screen so when the screen is positioned to the right of your main screen like it is in my setup there is a bit of a gap between the screens. This was annoying for about a week and then my brain got used to it and I don’t even notice it now hence it is a niggle not an issue.
The screen has worked perfectly since I bought it last year and I am really happy with it and my setup.
